ATLA OC Entry: Shion and Arthur

my entry for the ATLA OC tournament, wish me luck XD

Shion and Arthur

Shion
Age: In his hundreds but looks to be in his early twenties
Species: Fox Demon
A fox demon that formed a contract with Arthur, the contract is indicated by the star on his left cheek while the star appears on the opposite side on Arthur’s face.
Shion is not to happy about being transported to this tournament but decides to participate if it means that he and Arthur can return home.
Being able to use the power of fire at his disposal, Shion is a quick fighter who jumps into a fight rather than thinking through, however he sometimes misses a crucial part when fighting, he is weak in his defences, Shion is also not fond of spiders or surprises and can get distracted when his partner Arthur is in trouble or not able to help, he can also use his tail to his advantage.
Shion sometimes comes off as being aloof or uncaring but will assist anyone who is in trouble or when Arthur wants to assist, he is suspicious of strangers, especially of the one who summoned them there.

Arthur
Age: Early Teens
Species: Human
A young man that formed a contract with Shion, Arthur does not speak (when he does he whispers in Shion’s ear or another person) and acts as Shion’s partner, Arthur comes off as being kind and innocent as well as trusting others rather too easily.
Arthur seems to be more calm in the situation than Shion and tries to calm his partner down, especially when he makes too much noise.
Not being able to use fire but can form black energy shields that take the form of small squares, he can also uses these to attack but they aren’t that effective in close range and due to Arthur’s eyesight it takes him awhile to adjust to a situation.
If Shion is too distracted or can’t defend himself in time, Arthur usually jumps in and uses his shield but however this does have a toll on his body and weakens his physical strength with each use unless given the right amount of time to recover.
